Hello, it’s lovely to have you here
What I do…
My name is Claire Witz and I have lots of strings to my bow….
1. Business advice and training
I have 20 years’ experience both advising and training business owners, managers and teams. I also love to pull my sleeves up to give hands on help to businesses who want to move forward. Over the years I’ve helped sole traders, SMEs and charities right up to blue chips and multinationals.
2. Networking event organiser
I’ve also been at the helm of Mums in Business Network (MIB Network) for 10 years, running friendly, supportive, inspiring and educational networking events and membership for women juggling running a business around their families.
3. Arabic artist
I’ve been painting since a teenager and also have a degree in Arabic & Islamic Studies and have lived in Morocco. Since 2009 I’ve also run a little sideline under the name Qalbi (which means “my heart” in Arabic) and specialise in Arabic & Islamic art.
I live in Tunbridge Wells in Kent with my hubby, two growing kids (one of whom is suddenly now taller than me!) and our little Romanian rescue dog.
I love yoga, country walks and reading historical fiction, but seem to spend most of my time taxi-ing kids around instead. It’s just a phase!
My Passion and Mission…
My passion is to support independent businesses and make yours as good as it can be, to fit with the lifestyle and level of commitment you want to put into it (let’s face it, most of us would like a life outside of work).
This might be through an advice session, a larger review of what you’re doing and how you’re doing it, providing training to fill in your gaps, or coming on board for a while to work with you if you need an extra pair of hands.
I have strong input, strategic, activator, maximiser and empathy skills (for those of you who have done the Clifton Strengths Finder!) and would love to put those in action to help you.
It doesn’t matter what your business is, how big or small it is or what stage you’re at. I’d love to help. Just drop me a line if you’d like an informal chat.
