Using Mailchimp to help your business, without it taking up time you don’t have
Mailchimp is a bit like Excel. It does a ton of clever things. And yes, a few annoying ones. But if you don’t know exactly what, or how, you’re not making the most of it.
In fact, if you have a paid account with Mailchimp, you’re almost certainly paying for features that you’re probably not using, meaning it could work so much harder for you.
But of course there aren’t enough hours in the day to figure any of that out because you’re busy doing a hundred other things.
That’s where I come in
Here’s how I can help Mailchimp help your business
You know Mailchimp does more, but you don’t know what. Or how.
The first step is often just understanding what it could do for your unique needs, business goals, abilities and capacity. And often, if and how it could speak to the other tools and systems you use.
So we have a chat and talk through your business, challenges, goals and tech.
Then I can walk you through the potential and how Mailchimp could be made to work for you to remove admin, nurture leads, and drive sales or donations or build your community - whatever is applicable to you and your business.
Once you know those things, then at least you’re in a place where you can decide what to act on, and how.
Some of those next steps you might want to DIY, and others you might need expert help to get sorted. And that might be in one intense level-up hit, or more gradually over a period of time.
We can figure that out and decide on the best approach that works for you.
You’re stuck or wasting time
Maybe that’s technical or strategic. Maybe you’re in a complete muddle - you have no idea who in your mailing list is a prospect, a current customer, a past customer, a cold lead or a competitor. Or any idea who they are or what they’re really interested in. Or your open rates have suddenly tanked. Or your template looks awful on mobiles or in dark mode.
Or you know you need to send regular emails, you you have neither the time nor interest to actually do it.
Or, or, or…
We have a chat and agree the best course of action.
That might be a one-off consultation where I swoop in on my virtual helicopter, figure out the problem and make it go away.
Or it might be a larger piece of work, ad hoc support when you need it, regular mentoring, or I just handle your email marketing for you (with your input).
We can figure that out and decide on the best approach that works for you.
You need upskilling and training
You want to manage your Mailchimp newsletters and basic automations yourself for the time being, but you just want someone to show you how.
And teach you in language you can understand, at a pace that works with your level of expertise and technical abilities.
We have a chat about what you need, and the best format for the training.
That might be one or more sessions, or mentoring as and when you need help.
